What's the difference between a cocktail and a drink? Hell, we don't know! As near as can be said, a drink is alcohol, a mixer, and (or not) ice. A cocktail is something carefully constructed using different ingredients and with finesse. Sometimes, but not always, cocktails are served in stemware, fancy glasses. You be the judge.
1 tbsp. caramel sauce
1 tbsp. cinnamon sugar
Ice
3 oz. vodka
2 1/2 oz. apple cider
1 oz. butterscotch schnapps
Thin apple rounds, for serving
Dip the rim of two martini glasses in caramel and then dip in cinnamon sugar to coat. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, cider, and schnapps and shake until well chilled. Strain into the prepared martini glasses, garnish with apple round, and serve.
