2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix all ingredients by hand (and mix well). Turn into a floured and greased baking dish or tin and bake for one hour.
