Peas (Green Sweet) - Creamed #2

3 cups frozen peas thawed
1 ½ tablespoons butter
1 ½ tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon dried dill optional
¾ cup light cream or as needed
1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

Bring a small pot of water to a boil and add peas. Simmer 3 minutes. Drain well.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and seasonings and cook 1 minute.
Whisk in cream and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add peas and cook until heated through.
Mix with butter and serve warm.
