Beer-Braised Bratwurst
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 cans beer
1 large onion, diced
10 bratwurst
2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Begin by preheating a grill. When hot, oil the grates. In a bowl, combine the beer and onions and bring to a boil. Place the bratwurst in beer and add the red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, let the brats simmer in mixture for about 5 minutes. Then remove the bratwurst from the beer mixture and cook the bratwurst on the grill for about 5 minutes per side.
