Collins: John (Whiskey)

What's the difference between a cocktail and a drink? Hell, we don't know! As near as can be said, a drink is alcohol, a mixer, and (or not) ice. A cocktail is something carefully constructed using different ingredients and with finesse. Sometimes, but not always, cocktails are served in stemware, fancy glasses. You be the judge.

Collins: John (Whiskey)

2 ounces Irish whiskey
½ ounce simple syrup
1 ounce lemon juice
3 ounces club soda
Lemon wedge, for garnish

Add the whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup to an ice-filled collins glass. Top with soda and stir to combine. Garnish with lemon.
