What's the difference between a cocktail and a drink? Hell, we don't know! As near as can be said, a drink is alcohol, a mixer, and (or not) ice. A cocktail is something carefully constructed using different ingredients and with finesse. Sometimes, but not always, cocktails are served in stemware, fancy glasses. You be the judge.

12 ounces hard apple cider
12 ounces lager beer (or Guiness)

In 2 chilled pint glasses equally divide the hard cider. Add the beer and serve immediately.
