Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup
4 cups water
1/4 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/2 cup Chinese rice wine
1/8 cup rock candy
3 (1-inch) slices of fresh ginger
2 stalks of green onion, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 red hot pepper, seeded
1 bag of spice pack
1 cups chicken broth
Chinese dry noodles
Put beef in the slow cooker, add all the ingredients (except dry noodles) into the pot and mix thoroughly, turn the crock pot on high for 4 hours, then low for 2 hours. When you are ready to serve, cook Chinese dry noodles according to direction. once cooked, serve in a bowl, ladle broth and meat over the noodles and sprinkle with green onions if you wish. Enjoy!
