Sausage - Liverwurst Sandwich

It s generally agreed throughout the world that a sandwich is two pieces of bread with something in-between. As if we were not confused enough, we have tried to list sandwiches by type: sandwich, burgers, grilled cheese, submarine, sausage (includes hot dogs), stuffed, open-face.

Sausage - Liverwurst Sandwich

2 slices liverwurst
2 slices white or rye bread
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
Pickled red onions, optional

Spread bread slice with mayonnaise (and mustard if you prefer), layer on the lettuce, liverwurst slices, and pickled red onions (if using). Top with bread slice.
