FORUM - Guidelines & Rules

Post by Chowhound »

Membership is open to United States military personnel, veterans, their families and friends, military organizations, US firefighter, EMT, police, and other civilians (outside the main gate) and overseas whom we'll admit on a case-by-case basis. We welcome groups such as churches, schools, businesses, restaurants. Ultimately, though, this resource is for our troops stateside and overseas and their families! We're not a discussion forum so your political, religious or social views will not see the light of day here - our only purpose is to build the world's largest online Military Family Cookbook by posting recipes.

WARNING: All postings are 100% moderated! We will not stand for any hatred, racism, or animosity in any form. If someone attempts this they will be immediately banned for life - no second chances! Get over it; this is a private forum established for one purpose - to catalog recipes!

We would prefer food recipes that you experienced on your tours of duty, family favorites, or regional dishes while reassigned or deployed. Remember too that the more complicated the recipe and the lack of readily-available ingredients in local stores may decrease the possibility of anyone ever using it.

Please! To the best of your ability, post the recipe in the proper section of the cookbook. If you think of another class of cooking or major food category that should be in the collection, send a private message to the admin.

No cursing, evangelizing, or profaning - anyone! This is about food and meals, nothing else.

VOLUNTARY: It would be nice to have some sort of information to go with the recipe - name (or nickname), rank and branch of service, organization, city and state. That's it - we don't give out any information to anyone, period!

This list is subject to change, but not if we can help it. Have fun.
