Burger - Latin Burger

It s generally agreed throughout the world that a sandwich is two pieces of bread with something in-between. As if we were not confused enough, we have tried to list sandwiches by type: sandwich, burgers, grilled cheese, submarine, sausage (includes hot dogs), stuffed, open-face.

Latin-Burger-2.jpg
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (15 oz) package pork chorizo sausage
Adobo Seasoning and Pepper to taste
8 - handmade 1/3-lb ground beef patties
8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
1 container pico de gallo
4 hamburger buns

Preheat your grill to medium high heat. While grill heats, add olive oil to medium sized pan over medium high heat. Cook chorizo in a small pan then set aside. Season both sides of ground beef patties with adobo seasoning and pepper to taste. Grill all burgers on both sides until reaching desired doneness. Add slices of Monterey Jack cheese on each individual burger patty, allow to melt then remove patties from grill, place on baking sheet and cover with foil to keep warm. To assemble, place patties on each separate bun bottom, spoon chorizo over patties (as much or as little as you would like). Top with pico de gallo and serve with tortilla chips.
