What's the difference between a cocktail and a drink? Hell, we don't know! As near as can be said, a drink is alcohol, a mixer, and (or not) ice. A cocktail is something carefully constructed using different ingredients and with finesse. Sometimes, but not always, cocktails are served in stemware, fancy glasses. You be the judge.
2 oz Tequila
1⁄2 oz Fresh lime juice
Pinch of salt (to taste)
Grapefruit soda, to top (Jarritos or Squirt work best) Garnish: Lime wheel Glass: Highball
Add the tequila, lime juice and salt into a highball glass over ice. Top off with the grapefruit soda and stir. Garnish with a lime wheel.
