Copycat Chick-fil-A Coleslaw

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mayonnaise
2 (10-ounce) bags fine shredded cabbage, chopped to 1/4 inch long
1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, dry mustard and salt until the sugar is dissolved. Add the mayonnaise and whisk until combined. Add cabbage and carrots and switch to a mixing spoon or spatula and mix to combine. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
