Slider - Gorgonzola Stuffed Buffalo Turkey Sliders

It s generally agreed throughout the world that a sandwich is two pieces of bread with something in-between. As if we were not confused enough, we have tried to list sandwiches by type: sandwich, burgers, grilled cheese, submarine, sausage (includes hot dogs), stuffed, open-face.

3/4 pound ground turkey
1/4 yellow onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup Frank's wing sauce (plus more for drizzling)
6 tablespoons crumbled Gorgonzola
6 slider buns

Combine ground turkey with grated onion, minced garlic and wing sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Lightly mix together using your hands, taking care not to over-mix. Evenly separate into six patties (about 2 ounces each). Place 1 tablespoon Gorgonozola cheese in the center of each patty. Bring up the sides around the cheese and press together to engulf the cheese in the middle. Flatten back out. Repeat with remaining five patties. Grill patties over medium heat until cooked all the way through. (About 5-6 minutes per side, or if using a foreman-type grill, 5-6 total). Serve on toasted slider buns and drizzle with extra sauce and your favorite burger toppings, if desired.
