Bannock - Bannock Biscuit

1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Buttermilk (low-fat)
1 tsp Baking Soda
Dash of Salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together the dry ingredients. Add the buttermilk and vanilla and stir until the dough forms a ball. Place dough into heated skillet over medium heat and flatten into a round. Cook until golden brown and then flip as you would a pancake. If it is too thick and the insides are gooey, just cut it in half (bun style) and then throw back in the pan to finish cooking. Try flattening it more next time.
