Mary Jo's Baked Beans

1 lb Italian sausage
1 large onion; chopped
1 medium green pepper; chopped
1 can (20-oz) pork & beans
1/2 bottle (16-oz) barbecue sauce, medium hot
1 can (16-oz) unsweetened pineapple bits
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Brown sausage; add onion and green pepper. Combine all ingredients and simmer until sausage is cooked. You can use a slow cooker. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
