What's the difference between a cocktail and a drink? Hell, we don't know! As near as can be said, a drink is alcohol, a mixer, and (or not) ice. A cocktail is something carefully constructed using different ingredients and with finesse. Sometimes, but not always, cocktails are served in stemware, fancy glasses. You be the judge.
1-1/2 ounces pineapple vodka
½ part Cointreau
1 kiwi, sliced (set one slice aside for garnish)
lemon
soda water
ice
In a cocktail shaker, muddle sliced kiwi, a squeeze of lemon, pineapple vodka and Cointreau. Shake and pour into an ice filled Collins glass. Add more ice, if necessary, and top with soda water. Garnish with remaining kiwi slice.
