Beans (Green) - Bavarian Green Beans
1/4 lb bacon
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1 cup spaetzle noodles
Blanch the green beans in some water, drain. In a large saute pan, melt the butter. Add the green beans and saute then for about 2 minutes. Combine bacon, garlic, and onions with the green beans stir for 5-10 minutes until the onions become clear. Add the spaetzle to the green beans. Add apple cider, mix everything well in the skillet. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve it up and ENJOY!
